The Neligh Leader, Antelope county, NE., January 24, 1919
Tilden Citizen: Miss Emma Stilger, niece of Mrs. Shade of this city, and Mr.
Antone Smucker of Newman Grove, were united in marriage by Father O'Sullivan at
9 o'clock Tuesday morning, January 14th. Following the ceremony a reception was
given in the home of Mrs. Shade. About thirty guests were present and joined in
the festivities which continued during the day and evening. Mr. and Mrs. Smucker
left Wednesday noon on a wedding trip.

Baumgarten-Thomas
Mr. Floyd L. Thomas of Aberdeen, S. D., son of Mr. and Mrs. G. W.
Thomas of this city, and Miss Edith Baumgarten of Selby, S. D., were
married at the home of the bride's parents, at noon on Saturday, December
31. The young couple is enjoying a wedding trip, being in Tecumseh at this time
and from there they will go to Denver and other points. They will be at home in
Aberdeen after February 1. Mr. Thomas is in the employ of the Chicago, Milwaukee
& St. Paul railroad as a clerk in the freight department at Aberdeen. The bride
is said to be a very estimable young lady. They have the best wishes of their
friends.
