The Clay County Patriot, Clay county, NE., January 17, 1913
The remains of Thomas Smith were brought from Hartwell last Thursday afternoon and interred in Calvary cemetery. He was 23 years old, the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Smith, who formerly resided south of Sutton.

SHELDON-LINQUIST
Mary Sheldon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Sheldon of this city, was married last week to Leonard Linquist of Wausa, the son of business man of that city. The young couple slipped away quietly and surprised their friends. The bride was in the high school here and has now started on the journey of life with the young man of her choice. We understand they will live in South Dakota on a farm.

Edward Whitcomb, formerly editor of the Telegraph of Friend and Mrs. Mary Jane Warren, of Minneapolis, Minn., were married at Los Angeles, Calif., May 14. Both are seventy-nine years of age.
